An original watercolor painting on heavyweight watercolor paper by contemporary American artist Jan Taylor (Arizona, born 1960). The painting depicts a Native American woman whose hair and garments flood across the scene in a beautiful wash of orange, pink, teal, and purple. Subtle gold tone glitter has been applied to the woman’s face. The painting is signed in purple to the lower right. It is double-matted in beige and pale teal with decorative die cutting and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with pale pickled finish and a hanging.
