Antique Adjustable Dress Form With Wire Base And Cast Iron Stand

An antique adjustable dress form comprised of heavy duty press cardboard, circa the early 1900s. This dress form features a total of twelve separate pieces that make up the entire body, which can all be adjusted to different sizes and are covered in a thin red fabric to the exterior. The entire form is mounted on a cast iron stand that can be adjusted via a large screw to the underside of the form, which also has four legs with casters to each.

Condition
- Heavy wear to upholstered exterior including tearing and staining. Rusting and discoloration to cast iron base. Support through the center is damaged causing the back to lean more that it should. Missing top bolt. Casters do not move smoothly.
