A late 19th century Victorian Eastlake platform rocker. The walnut and burl-paneled frame features ornate incised lines on the crest, above a caned back and seat. The arms flow forward from mid-back and scroll under at the front. The chair rocks on a platform base with carved and incised feet ending in wooden casters.
