A circa 1970s offset lithograph on paper after a mid-century cityscape by listed Dutch artist Jan Korthals (1916-1972). The piece, titled Burg Met Blinde Ezelstraat, Brugge, depicts pedestrians walking through an arched walkway on Blinde-Ezelstraat street in the city center of Bruges, Belgium. The piece is signed and titled in plate to the lower left. it is presented under clear acrylic in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- foxing and toning present to print; print is buckled inside frame; water damage to frame and paper backing; tears to frame’s paper backing; surface wear and scratching to frame finish; loose joints to frame.
