A circa 1970s limited edition offset lithograph on paper after a painting by listed American artist K. Chin (1920-1995). The work, titled Owl and Butterfly, depicts a fanciful illustration of a happy owl perched on a tree branch and watching a butterfly in flight. The image utilizes earth tone hues of green, brown, orange, white, pink and yellow. The print is signed in graphite to the lower right, signed in plate to the lower left, titled in plate to the lower center and noted as ’Artist’s Proof’ in graphite to the lower left. It is double matted in yellow and brown and presented under glass in a gold tone metal frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- some toning to print with age; glass is loose inside frame; faint wear and scratching to frame finish.
