A large limited edition serigraph by American graphic artist and illustrator John Van Hamersveld (b. 1941) depicting John Lennon. This large scale work is printed on heavyweight rag paper and depicts a color-block image of the legendary musician in a palette of pink, red, orange, and cream. The work is signed to the lower right corner and hand numbered as edition 36 of 40. Hamersveld has a long and storied career as the designer of numerous iconic album covers. Included in his works are the covers of Magical Mystery Tour by The Beatles, Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones, and Eat to the Beat by Blondie.
