A handwoven room-sized Persian style area rug. The rug features a deep red field that is populated by floral palmettes, lancet leaves and abstract elements in a palette of powder blue, black, cream and yellow. The field is enclosed by a compound resolved border that features a herati pattern throughout in a complementary palette with a black background and a wool fringe to either end. The rug is tagged to the reverse.
