A circa 1970s limited edition lithograph on wove paper by American artist William Ray ‘Bill’ McCauley (1931-1989). The piece, titled Mother and Baby, depicts a peaceful portrait of a mother and child in muted hues of brown and blue. The print is signed in graphite to the lower left and numbered 103/175 to the lower right. The work is double matted in brown and pale blue and presented under clear acrylic in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso. - toning and fading to print and mat with age; slight acid burns to mat; scratching and edge wear to frame surface; cloudy residue underneath acrylic covering; small holes and gallery sticker to frame’s paper backing.
