An offset lithograph on paper after listed American artist Regina Reg Lene Klein (1931-2006). This village scene in an American folk art style depicts a late 19th century early 20th century New England village scene with children playing outside the schoolhouse on the village green as a horse and buggy come down the road in front of a white clapboard church behind a picket fence. The piece is signed in plate ‘Regi Klein’ to the lower right corner, and dated ‘1982 D.A.C. NY’ in the plate to the lower left corner. It is presented behind a floral pattern print mat behind glass in a wooden frame. A roped string is attached to the verso for hanging. Regi Klein studied at Bennington College and the Art Institute of Chicago before moving to the New York area in the 1950s.
