Chinoiserie Cabinet with Mother of Pearl Inlay

A chinoiserie cabinet with a mother-of-pearl inlay. The cabinet is made of black lacquered wood with brass hardware. The drawer handles are in the shapes of butterflies. The top of the piece and drawers are painted with flower-and-bird scenes. The two doors open to reveal two shelves on the left side and three drawers on the right side. The drawers have dovetail joinery and are lined with red. The sides of the cabinet are painted with dandelions.
