The rug features a central medallion that sits on top of a cream field in a palette of deep yellow, red, navy blue and black with matching spandrels to each corner. The field is surrounded by a compound resolved border that features a turtle border in a complementary palette with floral embellishments throughout with a wool fringe to either end. It is marked on the back ‘Another unique oriental-style woven rug from Beaulieu of America, Inc.’
