Jay Wilford currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife Kate and is the grandson of Dutch impressionist Henrika “Hanny” Van der Velde. He received his form artistic education in Scotland. Wilford’s oil painting are inspired by impressionism and is best known for his ability to portray powerful light and motion. While Wilford favors land, sea, and nightscapes his recent work include abstract acrylics. Wilford’s work has been exhibited and sold internationally.
