Annette Himstedt Vinyl 26" Ellen Barefoot Children Series Doll
Item Details
A 1986 vinyl collectors life-like doll by West German-born artist Annette Himstedt. This lot features Ellen from the ‘Barefoot Children’ series of dolls produced with meticulous detail with hand painted faces, hand applied human hair lashes, and a hand style human hair wig. She has blue eyes, braided blonde hair and wears a simple gray dress with floral pinafore with original box. The doll is marked on the back of the head with an in-mold mark including the artist’s signature and the dolls name.
Condition
- Previously displayed with faint marks on the dolls and clothing. Dolls hair braids are loose and require some work to tame. Rubs to the arms and legs.
