Original "Penthouse" 35mm Slides of Angela Nicholas by Bob Guccione

A set of two original 1980s 35mm slides of Penthouse model Angela Nicholas. The circa 1985 images, taken by publisher and photographer Bob Guccione, show the New York actress and model posing both clothed and nude in a home setting. One slide includes handwritten editor’s notes to the cardboard slide casing that read ‘Angela, 12 of 20, 985’. The images originate from a photo shoot later to be featured as a pictorial in Penthouse Magazine, in which Nicholas was the August 1985 ‘Pet of the Month’. Angela Nicholas, also known as Angela Bartolomeo, Toni Larsen and Angela Davies, would later go on to work in numerous film and television roles, including a recurring role as the “Lady in Red” in HBO’s Deadwood. The items included in this lot come from The Guccione Collection, sold exclusively through EBTH by digital media company Jerrick. The items originate from the personal archives of Bob Guccione; media mogul, artist, and founder of Penthouse Magazine.
