Antique Indian-Style Almirah

Item Details

An antique Indian-style almirah. This wooden cabinet is topped with crown molding above a pair of paneled doors embellished with painted floral urns. The doors are equipped with an iron pull and hinged lock and are decorated to the interior with foliate panels in red, golden yellow, and black. The interior contains four shelves and the piece rests upon bracket feet joined by a serpentine apron. The exterior is decorated with painted floral designs in shades of red, pink, black, blue, yellow, and green.
