A mixed media painting on canvas titled Twilight II by contemporary Cincinnati-based artist Lisa Schafer. This painting depicts an abstract scene with a dark black stripe to the top of the picture plane and gradually transitioning to purple. Along the bottom of the composition are hues of green with purple coming through thin areas of paint. This piece is signed to the lower left and titled to the verso. An informative label is present to the verso. Presented as an unframed canvas.
Lisa Schafer received an undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering and a Master’s in Digital Designed from the University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP). Schafer’s work is represented in galleries across the United States including the Argosy Gallery in Bar Harbor, Maine and the Gallery Veronique in Montgomery, Ohio. Her work is housed in private and corporate collections including the Muska and Lipman Publishing Company and The Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
