A first trade edition Richard Avedon Made in France photography book. The book was published to accompany an exhibition at Fraenkel Gallery, San Francisco Nov-Dec 2001. Many of the images presented in this book were made in Paris for Harper’s Bazaar during the 1950s and include the photographer’s personal notations on both front and back giving the book a ‘work in progress’ appearance.
