Theodore Gall Articulated Bronze Bust Sculpture
Item Details
An articulated bronze bust sculpture by well-listed artist Theodore Gall (American b. 1941). The piece depicts the head of a male figure, which balances a hinged square slab accented with fish and human figures. The top hinged piece opens to reveal additional fish motif details. The sculpture is mounted on a tall wooden base and is meant to be viewed from all sides. The work is unsigned, however, the artist confirmed the work as his.
Theodore Gall began his career in the 1960s after studying at the Art Institute of Chicago and the American Academy of Art. He works in the lost wax method and his smaller sculptures are one of a kind. He has exhibited across the country and his work is included in both private and corporate collections.
