Nepali Style Bronze Sculpture of the Bodhisattva Vasudhara

An antique Nepali style bronze sculpture of the bodhisattva Vasudhārā. She is wearing an elaborate headdress and the elegant garments of a bodhisattva. She is seated on a lotus throne in the lalitasana pose with her right foot supported by a lotus flower. In her six hands she holds a treasure vase, a shaft of grain, sacred text, and holds her primary right hand in the varada mudra, the gesture of generosity. The bronze sculpture sits on a cherry stained oval wood base with green felt circles present to the underside.
