An offset lithograph on paper of an original painting by cubist painter Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) titled The Lovers. Signed in plate to the lower right corner, the print depicts a man and a woman embracing in front of a window. Mounted under a single layer of white matting, the print is presented under glass in a black wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes, a framer’s decal, and a decal with information about the original painting are present to verso. A painter and a printmaker, Picasso is best known for his contributions to the cubist movement.
