Chinese Ceramic Bowl With Wooden Stand

A Chinese ceramic bowl. This piece features a tapered shaped with a scalloped edge footed base. There are depictions of trees, animals, insects, and foliage to the sides with a blue meander border around the base, and gilt trim. The bowl rests on a dark stained wooden stand with carved flowers on branches to each of the panels around the sides. The underside is stamped with a Tongzhi reign mark, however, the bowl was produced in the 20th century; Republic period (1912-1949).

Condition

- some wear to surface; red stains to the underside; cracks to wooden stand.
