A mixed media painting on paper by listed artist Werner Wildner (1925 – 2004), titled Barn Owl. This painting, which utilizes acrylic paint and white conte, depicts the titular bird posed in front portraiture wearing a pointed hat. An artist initial is found to the lower right corner of the composition. The painting is presented under glass beneath a single-layered mat in a wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso. Also affixed to the verso is an artist statement for Wildner.

- moderate edge wear on frame; slight cloudiness behind glass; slight toning of paper.
