Vintage Naval Heterodyne Frequency Meter
Item Details
A WWII-era naval ‘Heterodyne Frequency Meter – Type CRR-74028’. The metal data plate affixed to it says it is a ‘Unit of Model LM-13 Radio Equipment by Contractor Bendix Radio Div. of Bendix Aviation Corp.’ and ‘Manufactured for Navy Department – Bureau of Ships’. Included with the machines is a set of vintage headphones with leather-wrapped headbands, which has its original cord and plug. The headphones are marked with the number ‘C-410’ and were manufactured by Western Electric. One of the ear pieces is also marked ‘MX-41/AR’. The two machines come with a spiral bound instruction manual marked Calibration, along with model numbers that match the machine.
