An original wood carving of a blue jay by Douglas Sheppard. This piece features a carved and painted figurine of a blue jay mounted on a log base. ‘Douglas Sheppard’ is signed to the underside of the base in black ink.

- chip in wood on one wing; bird loose on base; surface wear throughout.
