A mahogany and cherry grandfather clock from the Ambassador Collection by Howard Miller. This mechanical timepiece features a cast brass face displaying Arabic numerals with a moon phase dial at the top, and below is a cabinet containing the etched brass pendulum and three weights which can be viewed through the beveled glass door and beveled glass side panels. The frame is solid cherry with an open dome top and center finial boasting book matched mahogany veneers and foliate inlays, and below are ribbed corbels and a rectangular base with a serpentine apron and bracket feet. This piece’s model number is 610-778, its serial number is F0081990253, and the chimes play three different melodies with a nighttime shut-off option.
