Antique Dome Top Wood and Metal Trunk

Item Details

An antique dome top wood trunk with metal trim. The trunk is made of oak wood with a red-tone stained finish. The corners , edges and sides are embellished with bands of metal. The front has a heavy brass lock on it, which is marked with 19th-century patent dates. The plate below the lock tab is marked ‘Phil.’ The interior is lined in a floral paper in a light green and cream color. The handles for the trunk are missing but the metal fittings are present.

- no key for the lock
