Early Wedgwood Blue and White Teapot

An early blue and white potter teapot made by Wedgwood designed in a smaller form with applied handle to the top, two tipping feet to the back hand decorated with tulip and oakleaf laurel borders. Blue stamped mark to the bottom for Oaklands Wedgwood. Has incised trade mark ‘Patent SYP Teapot, Chiswick London’. Also has blue stamped mark to lid ‘Patent SYP Teapot Chiswick, London Registered No 536554’.

Condition

- poor has chips to spout, has repaired corner to lip of lid.
