A handwoven Anatolian or Turkish flat weave area rug. This area rug features an abrashed field in a striation of blue hues with blocks of color in red, yellow, and ivory. The colorful blocks show geometric symbolic patterns within and outside of the blocks. There is a border of outlined shapes while the ends feature a long natural cotton warp fringe. This rug shows no maker’s mark.
