A vintage Modernist 1205 lounge chair by Florence Knoll for Knoll International with provenance. The chair features a padded seat, back, and armrests upholstered in a pale green and tan wool fabric. It rises on a rectilinear, chrome base with four square legs. The seat retains a manufacturer’s tag. Designed by Florence Knoll in 1954, this timeless piece was inspired by the work of Mies Van der Rohe.

Provenance: The chair comes with the initial order letter to Knoll Associates from Robert Metcalf dated August 20, 1979. The letter references the Knoll 1207 sofa listed in 17DET010-088.
