Collection of Antique Medicine and Poison Bottles

A collection of antique poison and pharmacy bottles. The collection includes a cobalt blue ribbed bottle with raised lettering down the side ‘TRILOIDS’. This bottle retains its original label, cork, and label around the neck, which is marked with a skull and crossbones, and ‘Poison’. The label also has printed instructions for an antidote. A clear, round glass bottle is marked ‘STRYCHNINE – POISON’, and retains part of the original label depicting a red skull and crossbones, and ‘Powers & Weightman Philadelphia’. A cobalt blue ribbed bottle is marked in raised lettering ‘Melvin & Badger Apothecaries Boston, Mass.’ This bottle also retains its original label, marked ‘White Wash Lotion’, along with a red skull and crossbones, with ‘For External Use Only – POISON’. A square-shaped cobalt blue bottle retains its original red label and neck label, both marked with a red skull and crossbones. The large label is marked ‘Antiseptic Triloids Bichloride Tablets’ along with ‘William R. Warner & Co., Inc.’ to a label on top of the original cork. A star-shaped cobalt blue glass bottle is marked ‘POISON’ in raised lettering to the side, and comes with a metal screw cap.
