Item Details
A sterling silver vase by Black, Starr & Frost of New York (established 1874). This features a flaring mouth and a tapering body above a stepped base ornamented with swags and acanthus leaves. It is marked underneath with the maker’s mark, ‘143’, ‘sterling 8 in’ and a incised eagle mark. The approximate weight is 5.485 ozt.

- some minor surface wear with faint markings and tarnishing.
