Item Details
A 1962 watercolor on paper by German artist Ernst Springer. The image depicts blossoming flowers in pastel hues of green, pink, yellow, indigo and red. The piece is signed ‘Ernst Springer, 62, Peterstal, Heidelberg’ in brown paint to the lower left. The painting is matted in tan and presented under glass in a gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire attached to the verso.
Condition
- scratches and chips to frame finish; tears to frame’s paper backing; some fading and discoloration to image, especially visible to top edge.
