Wooden Painted Rabbit Chair

A wooden painted rabbit chair. The chair has a back that takes shape from the outline of a rabbit wearing a fancy dress and hat with a trailing ribbon. The rabbit is painted with her hands folded and legs crossed to one side as one support, while the other front leg is formed from her draped dress. The piece was hand painted and signed by the painter Joanne West at the base of the book.

Condition

The piece shows some wear and scratches in the paint.
