Rare Double TM 1965 Vintage African American GI Joe "Action Soldier"

A rare double ‘TM’ 1965 vintage Hasbro GI Joe 11.5’ action figure item #7500 featuring an African American ‘Action Soldier’. This soldier features slotted shoulder design with thirteen rivet construction. The figure is marked to his tush ‘GI JoeTM Copyright 1964 by Hasbro Pat. Pending Made in USA’ and includes original dark olive green uniform, first edition rubber boots, and a plastic hat. The bottom inside of the original ‘coffin’ box is stamped in black ink Jan. 22, 1965, while the inside of the lid is machine stamped 11/64 with the color lid featuring ‘TM’ under Action Soldier on front and ends of the box.
Condition
- well cared for condition and in excellent collectible condition with minor wear to the box consistent with age. The rubber boots show splits (consistent with age and play) and have been repaired to some degree. There is a visible crack in the left bicep where the lower arm connects. Minor brown marker mark to right edge of the pant leg and staining to the paperwork.
