USS Constitution Cannon Bookends
Item Details
A pair of vintage bookends with models of 24-pound cannons from the USS Constitution. These detailed replicas are created out of wood and brass and are not marked. The USS Constitution, nicknamed ‘Old Ironsides’, was launched in 1797 and named by George Washington. A similar pair of bookends was displayed in the Oval Office during the presidency of John F. Kennedy.

- to fair; light scuffs and scratches to wood; considerable tarnishing to brass.
