A vintage Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee throne chair, one of only 500 manufactured. This throne is inspired by the coronation chair marking Queen Elizabeth II as the longest running monarch of the United Kingdom. This throne features an oak frame and red leather upholstery. This piece features a triangular crest rail with an upholstered center and nailhead trim over a button tufted upholstered back framed in oak and flanked by finial topped stiles falling to swooping armrests on ball arm supports over an upholstered cushion seat. The apron features carved petal detail rising on turned legs joined by an H-stretcher terminating on block feet. The chair is marked ‘Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee 1977’ in gilt lettering along the crest rail.
