Antique William L. Gilbert "Parisian" Clock

Item Details

An antique William L. Gilbert ‘Parisian’ clock. This clock features a carved walnut case with a floral motif crest, two protruding arms with a reverse finial and rests on carved bracket feet with a floral motif at its center. The clock face features black Roman numerals, two hands and meets the ornate gold tone and silver tone pendulum which are presented behind a glass panel door that includes a gray etching of a bird encompassed by foliage. The back of the clock is marked ‘Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. Winsted, Conn.’ and the key is included.

Condition

- to fair; clock still functional and chimes; one finial is detached but included; key included; original manufacturer label heavily discolored and peeling.
