An oil painting on canvas titled Hope by contemporary Cincinnati artist Bruno Zabaglio, created in 2003. This painting depicts a man laying on a roadway with his arms outstretched in a manner similar to a crucifixion. A small purple flower grows through the ground to the right of the composition. This piece is signed and dated to the lower left corner as well as to the verso. This piece is presented as an unframed oil painting on canvas.
Bruno Zabaglio received an undergraduate degree as well as a Curatorial Practiced Graduate Certificate from the University of Cincinnati. Zabaglio’s work focuses on capturing moments, expressions, and sensations around a subject, which subsequently creates an emotion from the viewer. His work has been exhibited in various galleries and shows around Cincinnati, Ohio. Some galleries included the Redtree Gallery, Essex Studios, and the Annex Art Gallery.

- large water stain is present to the verso on the left side; scuffs are present to the bottom and sides of the canvas.
