A late 19th century New Haven Clock Company Art Nouveau style cherub figural ormolu mantle clock. This fabulous clock is designed with putti standing to the both sides of the clock, with their arms outstretched, supporting the clock. The round clock having a white face and black Arabic numerals, with an ornate scrolled case frame, having curving branch forms and an entwined finial to the top, with the footed base displaying sinuous lines typical of the Art Nouveau style. The footed base features open vines and a dolphin to the center with wave forms. The clock is marked New Haven Clock Co. to the face, with an open concave back.
