"Scherenschnitte" Pennsylvania Dutch Scissor Cutting

A Scherenschnitte Pennsylvania Dutch style scissor cutting artwork by Dianna L. Chels. The piece features a scissor cutting from one piece of paper in a continuous design of a flying woman with cat, bird and Colonial American flag. The piece was then hand painted. The piece is presented without mat or glass in a carved wood frame that has a unique scalloped dark stained pattern throughout. The original paper tag is attached to the wire to the verso.
