A Moosehead of Monson, Maine maple china cabinet. The piece consists of a dresser section with multiple drawers and storage areas paired with a raised cabinet with glass doors. The string of what appears to be three shallow paneled drawers is, in fact, two. The wide drawer on the left with two pulls is paired with a single drawer fitted for storing cutlery. Several silver storage bags are included. A band of stylized dentil molding separates the top drawers from three central drawers and two paneled doors. The cabinet section is divided into thirds vertically by three glazed doors.The doors have arched frames and faux muntins. There are two shelves with plate grooves. The top of the cabinet has crown molding and the base features bracket feet and a curved apron. The hardware is made of antiqued brass in a Chippendale style. The mark of the maker is in the top drawer.
