Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a Qing Dynasty civil official by W. Amadio. This painting depicts an official in front portraiture, adorned in a pointed coronet hat and dark robe with a 2nd civil rank badge featuring a golden pheasant. He poses against a layered, auburn background wearing traditional beads. An artist signature is seen to the lower left corner of the composition. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring molded ornate patterning to the surface and hanging wire to the verso.
