Collection of Antique Tonsiline Glass Medicine Bottles
Item Details
A collection of six glass bottles for the sore throat medication Tonsiline, circa 1910. The bottles have the name of the medicine embossed to one side, and the bust of a giraffe embossed to the face of each. One of the company’s popular advertisement slogans, based on this design, was, ‘If you had a neck as long as this fellow and had sore throat all the way down, Tonsiline would quickly relieve it.’ The bottles do not have caps or stoppers.

- very light accretion to some of the bottles.
