A Charles Dickens replica desk by Hekman Furniture. This mahogany-veneered, pedestal desk features a step back upper drawer unit with gallery rail molding with slant front writing surface which lifts to reveal hidden drawer and cubby storage. The slanted surface and two side desk areas surrounding, each include a red leather inset panel with tooled filigree edge detailing. The top rests on a central drawer and two pedestal sides which include drawers, all of which have wooden knob pulls, with the pedestals ending in plinthe bases.
