A vintage Singer sewing machine with stand. The black surface sewing machine is marked ‘Singer’ and ‘Manufactured in Great Britain’ on the arm and features chrome detailing above the needle. A gold tone medallion depicts the Singer trademark, and a gold tone tab has the model number ‘EE996930’. Another metal label is marked ‘Singer Sewing Motor Controller – Volts 95-145 – Simanco – Made in U.S.A.’ The store label adhered to the body is marked ’Strobel’s Sewing Machines’ in Cabot, Pennsylvania. It comes with a foot pedal and a two-prong plug. The table with four slender legs features a drawer and a hinged side extension. The machine can be dropped down into its slot within the drawer and the extension folded neatly over.
