A handmade human figure and animal motif area rug. The rug features a bright red rectangular field with depictions of two human figures down the middle, and six birds and horned creatures – three to each side – between the figures, in shades of yellow, black, blue and salmon. Additional figures are spaced evenly in the field of the main border against a blue background.The main border is accented with black red and yellow narrow guard borders; the guard border around the field has a toothed design. The rug is finished with a red and yellow side cord and white fringe at the shorter ends. Not tagged.
