A signed limited edition offset lithograph on paper after an original painting by well-listed American marine and riverboat painter John Stobart (born 1929), titled St. Louis, A View through the Arches of the Eads Bridge in 1876. The print depicts several steamboats docked along the levee as figures and horses bring loads of goods to the shoreline and the bridge’s stone arches rise in the foreground. The print’s title is printed to the lower center margin. The print is signed in-plate to the lower right and is signed and numbered 128/750 in pencil to the lower right margin. The print is double-matted in metallic gold and white linen and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with hammered gold tone finish and a hanging wire.
