A signed serigraph by Roland Hobart. This abstract, Op-Art style print features concentric circles with overlays and underlays of blue, punctuated with cloudlike whisp shapes and Moorish-style motifs.The palette is white, tan, yellow, blue, and green. The print is signed at the lower right. Marking on the back reads, in part, ‘Youth Day/Thursd, October 29, 1970/Indianapolis Museum of Art/Original by Roland Hobart.’ It is presented behind glass in a silver-tone metal frame.
Condition
- to fair; the frame is scratched throughout; print is creased; the backing also is creased; frame and glass could benefit from cleaning.
