An acrylic painting on canvas abstract scene by contemporary American artist Ada Trillo, created in 2016. Depicted are two red asymmetrical circles against a black background creating a bullseye pattern. This piece is signed and dated to the canvas verso. Housed without glass in a black composite frame.
Ada Trillo was born along the US-Mexico border and works in various mediums including photography, oil, and acrylic painting. A common element in her work is the use of 24 carat gold powder and 18 carat gold leaf. Trillo received two degrees one from the Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy and the other is the Drexel University. Growing up along the border has influenced Trillo to explore social and economic issues that strongly affect Mexico. Trillo is represented by Racso Fine Arts and Twenty-Two Gallery both located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
