Item Details

A mixed media print on silk by 20th century artist Wei Tseng Yang, titled The Awakening of Spring. The print depicts a massive peacock making its way through a flowering Chinese garden landscape. The piece is primarily printed as an offset lithograph, with serigraph embellishments to the bird’s stunning tail feathers. A signature and three artist’s seals are stamped to the lower corners. A certificate of authenticity to the verso says that these were hand-stamped, and the piece was personally inspected by the artist. The print is double-matted in beige and metallic gold and is presented behind glass in a rounded wooden frame with mahogany finish and a hanging wire.
